Also known as "the range", this refers to land and facilities thereon designated by the city council for scheduled and supervised, noncommercial, firearms target practice by groups such as, but not limited to: police and other government agencies, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Veterans Of Foreign Wars, American Legion, incorporated shooting clubs, and other nonprofit groups and associations that provide education and recreation services to the general public.
