8-4-9: FIRES:
   A.   Use Of Fires: No person shall kindle, build, maintain or use a fire other than in places provided or designated for such purposes.
   B.   Improper Disposal Of Burning Material: Improper disposal of lighted materials, matches or other burning material is prohibited.
   C.   Unattended Fires: Fires shall not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished prior to departure.
   D.   Fuels: Gasoline and other fuels, except that which is contained in storage tanks of vehicles, watercraft, camping equipment or hand portable containers designed for such purpose, shall not be carried onto or stored at the lakes without written permission from the fire chief or his designee.
   E.   Cutting Wood: Tree branches lying on the ground may be picked up and cut for firewood to be used at a campsite only. Live trees or standing trees that are dead shall not be cut nor shall stripping dead branches out of live or dead trees be allowed. Cutting and removing of wood from lake property is prohibited. No wood shall be cut from trees standing in the waters of the lakes. (Ord. 1994-06, 11-1-1994)
