The following are exempt from all license and fee requirements of this chapter:
A. Charitable Organizations: As used in this subsection "charitable organization" means any nonprofit, tax exempt, charitable, education, religious or government organization as those terms are defined by applicable state and federal laws.
B. Political Canvassing: Solicitations exclusively intended to canvass or petition for a public official, political candidate, public policy or initiative being promoted for purposes of a public referendum, initiative, or election. (Ord. 2009-02, 4-14-2009)
