Each property owner has a responsibility to regularly perform general maintenance activities regarding ditch and/or culvert/inlet clean out to ensure proper storm water drainage across their property. Where storm water drainage ditches are near the designated town storm water outfalls and the face of the culvert is 18 inches or larger, the town will assist with seasonal maintenance for the ditch and mow on the street side of the ditch.
