§ 93.33 NUMBERS TO A BLOCK.
   (A)   One hundred numbers shall be assigned to each block or square on each street so far as it is practicable to do so, but this procedure may be varied by assigning 200 numbers to 1 block or 100 numbers to 2 or more blocks where necessary, on account of irregular street layout, in order to provide corresponding numbers for all blocks in a series of parallel or approximately parallel streets at their intersection with any thoroughfare which is approximately parallel with the base line for the series of streets. In each block 1 number shall be assigned to every 25 feet of frontage on either side of the street, odd numbers always on the right, even numbers on the left in the direction of numbering.
   (B)   In the event that it may be impracticable to use 25 feet as the frontage unit for assignment of numbers in certain areas or blocks without resorting to half numbers, the town shall have authority to reduce the frontage as may be necessary to avoid the use of half numbers.
   (C)   Numbers assigned to any block and not needed shall not be carried onto another block but shall be dropped so that numbers shall commence in the next block with the next higher one hundred.
