(A) All persons owning, occupying, or serving as agents for any owner or occupant of any building or buildings which now exist or which may hereafter be erected or moved from one location to another within the town, shall have numbers placed on the buildings in accordance with the plan hereinafter set forth.
(B) The Executive Director of Planning Commission or his or her designee, upon being informed of the exact location of any building, shall thereafter designate to the owner, occupant, or agent thereof, the proper number of the building.
(C) No owner, occupant, or agent for any owner or occupant of any building now in existence, or any building erected hereafter, or any building moved to a new location, shall fail or refuse to place or cause to be placed upon the building the number ascribed thereto by the Executive Director of Planning Commission or his or her designee and the numbers shall be placed upon each building within 30 days after notification by the Executive Director of Planning Commission or his or her designee of the correct number of the building.
(D) No persons shall take down or alter, deface, destroy, or conceal any number on any building, or place or allow to be placed an erroneous number thereon, or permit any erroneous number to remain on any building owned, occupied, or controlled by him or her.
