An owner or property agent who fails to comply with an eviction filing order shall be subject to a fine in the amount of $750 for violation of this chapter. Each day a violation exists shall be considered a separate violation and a court may assess a monetary civil penalty for each day a violation exists. The maximum fine for a violation under this chapter shall be $5,000.
