It is the purpose of this section to provide for the removal and disposal of abandoned vehicles. The town hereby in all respects adopts the powers and procedures for the removal, storage, disposal and impoundment of abandoned vehicles and parts as set forth in I.C. 9-22-1 and as those provisions may from time to time be amended by the State of Indiana. In addition, the town exercises its authority under Home Rule to supplement or clarify state law and procedure to effectuate the purposes of this section.
