§ 50.02 ELECTRIC AND WATER UTILITY TAP CHARGES AND METER DEPOSIT CHARGES.
   (A)   The following charges are hereby established for the water and electric utilities of the town:
      (1)   Water tap:
         (a)   Three-quarters of an inch or small connection: $75;
         (b)   One-inch: $100;
         (c)   One and one-half inch: $175; and
         (d)   Two-inch: $250.
      (2)   Water meter deposit for commercial: $100;
      (3)   Water meter deposit for renters: $150;
      (4)   Water meter deposit for owners: $100;
      (5)   Electric meter deposit for commercial: $75;
      (6)   Electric meter deposit for renters: $150; and
      (7)   Electric meter deposits for owners: $75.
   (B)   Each dwelling unit and commercial unit being served or desiring to be served by the water or electric utilities of the town shall be subject to the foregoing charges and shall be separately metered.
   (C)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      COMMERCIAL UNIT. Any business, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and professional entity used for any purpose other than dwelling purposes.
      DWELLING UNIT. Any house, house trailers, mobile home, and any other structure used for dwelling purposes, not being structural component of another such DWELLING UNIT which has paid said charges.
   (D)   No hookups for either water or electric shall be made in the future without the foregoing charges having been made and without proper connection of each dwelling unit or commercial unit being made with the lines or mains of the town water or electricity utility.
