§ 35.005 RETURN OF PROPERTY OF THE TOWN UPON TERMINATION OR RESIGNATION.
   (A)   The Town Council desires to adopt a policy regarding the return of the town’s property in the possession of Council members, Clerk-Treasurer, or town employee upon the termination or resignation of said individual.
   (B)   Upon the termination or resignation of any Council member, the Clerk-Treasurer, or town employee, said individual shall be required to return any and all documents or property of the town to the Town Marshal within three days of the official termination of the said position. Keys to any office, building, cabinet, or vehicle(s) must be returned immediately.
   (C)   No town employee or Council member, other than the Town Marshal, shall act as an intermediary to receive said documents or property.
