4-2-19: DAYS AND HOURS OF SALES 1 :
   A.   Generally: Alcoholic liquor may be sold or offered for sale at retail any time in or upon the licensed premises between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M., Monday through Saturday, to one o'clock (1:00) A.M. the following day. Alcoholic liquor may be sold or offered for sale at retail between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Sunday. On New Year's Eve, the hours for sale for all licensees shall be extended to two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. All hours referred to herein shall be local time. (Ord. 623-2017, 5-15-2017)
   B.   Sundays: All licensees may sell alcoholic liquor at retail, by the drink or in the original package, for consumption either on or off the premises licensed, on Sundays, subject to all the remaining terms and conditions as set forth in this chapter. (Ord. 442, 6-2-1999; amd. 2012 Code)
   C.   Presence On Premises:
      1.   Except for Class A license holders, only employees or agents of the licensee or the licensee shall be allowed on the premises after closing hour and before the next opening hour. The licensee shall have immediately available for display to officials authorized to enforce this section proof of agent status or proof of employment of anyone claimed to be an agent or employee. "Proof of employment" is defined and required to be a true and correct copy of any current form or report made by the licensee to any State or Federal government agency listing employees by name. In addition, the claimed employee shall have current identification to identify him as the same person listed on such report or form.
      2.   All patrons will be out of or off of the premises within thirty (30) minutes after the time set in this section for closing, and the doors of the premises shall be locked at this time, except those businesses that sell liquor incidental to other legitimate business, i.e., grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. However, in every case, no liquor can be consumed on the premises or made available or obtained in any manner after closing hours.
