4-2-8: GRANT AND ISSUANCE OF LICENSE; CONTENTS:
The president, with the approval of a majority of the village board of trustees, is authorized to grant and issue licenses to individuals, firms, corporations, and limited liability companies to sell at retail and to keep and offer for sale at retail alcoholic liquors within the limits and territory of the village upon the conditions and in the manner provided by this chapter and by the act of the general assembly of Illinois, and not otherwise. Such license shall be in writing, signed by the president of the board of trustees, and attested by the village clerk, with the seal of his/her office affixed thereto. Licenses shall state thereon the names of the licensees and the address and description of the premises for which they are granted and the dates of their issuance and expiration.
