4-2-3: LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION 1 :
   A.   Created; Membership: There is hereby created a Local Liquor Control Commission consisting of the President of the Village Board of Trustees and the six (6) members of the Village Board of Trustees. In addition, the Local Liquor Control Commission shall consist of any person or persons appointed by the President to assist him in the exercise of the powers and the performance of the duties herein provided.
   B.   Local Liquor Control Commissioner: The President of the Village Board of Trustees shall be the Local Liquor Control Commissioner and shall be charged with administration of the appropriate provisions of the State Liquor Control Act of 1934 and this chapter. (Ord. 442, 6-2-1999)
   C.   Compensation: In addition to any other fees, salaries, or compensation paid to the President and the members of the Board of Trustees under any other ordinance or statute, the President of the Board of Trustees shall be paid three hundred dollars ($300.00) per fiscal year to act as Local Liquor Control Commissioner, and each member of the Local Liquor Control Commission, exclusive of the President, shall be compensated at a rate of thirty dollars ($30.00) per meeting for each meeting convened by the Local Liquor Control Commission or Commissioner and attended by said member of the Local Liquor Control Commission that occurs at a time and place other than a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees as set forth in section 1-5-3 of this Code.
   D.   Clerk Of Commission: The Village Clerk shall be the Clerk of the Local Liquor Control Commission, and the Clerk shall keep a record of all proceedings, transactions, communications and official acts of the Local Liquor Control Commission, and shall be custodian of all records and perform such other duties as the commission may proscribe. The Village Clerk, in addition to any other fees, salary or compensation paid under any other ordinance or statute, shall be paid thirty dollars ($30.00) for each meeting convened by the Local Liquor Control Commission or Commissioner at which the Village Clerk attends in his/her capacity as the Clerk of the Local Liquor Control Commission that occurs at a time and place other than a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees as set forth in section 1-5-3 of this Code.
