2-1-4: POWERS AND DUTIES:
   A.   The board shall supervise the village recreation program and advise the village board on the maintenance and operation of the village park system. (1995 Code § 11.104)
   B.   The board shall be responsible for receiving and expending funds designated for recreational purposes and for accounting for the same. Funds shall be deposited in one or more local financial institutions. (1995 Code § 11.105)
   C.   The village board is authorized to levy a special tax authorized for recreational purposes 1 . (1995 Code § 11.106)
