A. Fine: Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this title shall, upon conviction, be fined as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day a violation occurs or continues.
B. Additional Remedies: In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this title, the village, in addition to other remedies, may institute any proper action or proceedings in the name of the village to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance, or use; to restrain, correct or abate such violation; to prevent the occupancy of the said building, structure or land; or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about the premises.
