A. The expense of extending a six inch (6") water main shall be borne by the benefiting property owners whose properties will be served by the installation. If a water main larger than six inches (6") is needed, the village will bear the difference in cost of a six inch (6") water main and the larger water main.
B. Extension of a water main and service line outside the village limits shall require approval of the village board. Expense for the main and service line shall be borne by the benefiting property owner(s). (1995 Code § 6.118)
