9-1-10: MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR:
Hydrants, service pipes, and all attachments and fittings connected therewith shall be kept in good repair and condition by the owner or occupant of the premises upon which they are situated, at his own expense; and it is expressly provided that no claim shall be made or allowed against the village or any of its officers or employees on account of the breaking of any of said water apparatus, or on account of the stoppage of the supply of water by reason of accident to the pumping machinery or mains, or for the necessary alterations or repairs of the same.
