1-6-1: ELECTION; TERM; COMPENSATION:
The village clerk shall be elected and serve for a four (4) year term and until his successor is elected and qualified, as is provided by statute, and he shall receive such compensation as may be set from time to time by the board of trustees by ordinance. (1995 Code § 1.301)
