8-2-9: DAMAGING SIDEWALKS:
   A.   Prohibited: No property owner or his agent shall authorize or intentionally cause any village sidewalk in front of or adjoining the premises owned or occupied by him and under his control to be damaged, torn out, or removed without prior authorization by the director of public works or his authorized designee.
   B.   Repair And Replacement Required: Any village sidewalk damages caused or authorized by the property owner and/or his agent shall be repaired or replaced by the property owner within fifteen (15) days of said damage, tearing out, or removal, according to village specifications.
   C.   Repair Or Replacement By Village; Costs To Owner: In addition to any fine which may be levied, in the event the property owner fails or refuses to repair or replace said village sidewalk within fifteen (15) days to village specifications, the village shall have the right to replace or repair said village sidewalk to the same condition as prior to said damage, tearing out, or removal, and shall have the right to bring an action against the property owner for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing said village sidewalk, and for any attorney fees and costs incurred in bringing the action.
