A. Regular Meetings: The regular meetings of the board of trustees shall be held on the third Monday of each month at six o'clock (6:00) P.M., and no notice of such regular meeting shall be required, except notice required by statute if requested by news media. The meeting place of the board shall be the village hall unless otherwise ordered by the board. (Ord. 573-2012, 7-16-2012, eff. 8-19-2012)
B. Special Meetings: Special meetings may be called by the president or any three (3) trustees upon at least forty eight (48) hours' notice to all members and the president, which notice may be given by communicating the same personally to the president and each trustee or by mailing to or leaving at his/her usual place of residence written notice thereof; provided, that if the president and all of the trustees are present at a meeting, no notice of the meeting shall be necessary, and such notice shall be deemed waived. The news media and public shall be notified according to state statutes and village policy. (1995 Code § 1.203(b))
C. Adjourned Meetings: The board shall have the power to have adjourned meetings. (1995 Code § 1.203(c))
D. Open Meetings: All meetings of the village board at which any legal action is taken shall be open to the public. All requirements of the state open meetings act and village policy relating thereto will be observed. (1995 Code §§ 1.203(d), 1.209)
