7-2-1: PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to violate the following parking provisions on village streets and parking lots:
   A.   Parking Near Corner: Whenever a sign shall be present or curbing is so painted to prohibit parking, no person shall park within fifteen feet (15') of any corner. (Ord. 538, 7-20-2009)
   B.   Parking Requirements On Certain Streets:
      On Madison Street, parking shall be in the center of the street on the block between South Street and Wait Street, except there shall be no parking in the center of Madison Street on the block between South Street and Wait Street in the area located forty feet (40') on each side of the center of the alley.
      On Monroe Street, during the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. to five o'clock (5:00) P.M., Monday through Friday, there shall be no parking, as follows:
      On the east side of Monroe Street in the area that begins seventy feet (70') from the south side of the crosswalk at the corner of Monroe Street and South Street and ends one hundred thirteen feet (113') from the south side of the crosswalk at the corner of Monroe Street and South Street to allow the ingress and egress of semitrailers through the alley.
      On the west side of Monroe Street in the area that begins one hundred one feet (101') from the south side of the crosswalk at the corner of Monroe Street and South Street and ends one hundred twenty nine feet (129') from the south side of the crosswalk at the corner of Monroe Street and South Street to allow the ingress and egress of semitrailers through the alley.
      On Monroe Street, there shall be no parking at any time between the intersection of Monroe Street and Wait Street and the intersection of Monroe Street and Carter Street, with the exception of the parking space for persons with disabilities located on the west side of Monroe Street between South Street and Wait Street.
      On South Street, the parking of motor vehicles between Jefferson Street on the west and Jackson Street on the east and on both the north and the south sides of South Street shall be parallel with street curb on the right hand side according to the direction the vehicle is headed with the right wheels not more than twelve inches (12") from the curb.

   C.   Time Limit Parking:
      1.   Fifteen Minute Parking: Except on Sundays or holidays, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle for a longer consecutive period of time than fifteen (15) minutes between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and four o'clock (4:00) P.M. on the following streets in the village:
      South Street, south side, between the intersection of South Street and Monroe Street and the intersection of South Street and Jackson Street.
      2.   One Hour Parking: Except on Sundays or holidays, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle for a longer consecutive period of time than one hour between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. on the following streets in the village:
      South Street, south side, between the intersection of South Street and Madison Street and the intersection of South Street and Monroe Street.
