7-1-1: COMPLIANCE WITH STATE REGULATIONS:

All traffic laws shall be followed as specified in the Illinois vehicle code. Traffic laws apply to persons riding bicycles or animals or driving animal drawn vehicles, except those provisions of this title which, by their nature, can have no application. (1995 Code § 8.201)
