6-4-2: RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN ANIMALS:
   A.   Chickens, Fowl And Rabbits:
      1.   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep on any premises owned, occupied or controlled by him in the village any rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigeons, geese, or other domestic fowl unless such animals are kept in an enclosure, no part of which is within seventy five feet (75') of any dwelling house occupied by human beings, except any dwelling house occupied by such person, firm or corporation. (1995 Code § 10.103)
      2.   No person, firm or corporation shall sell or cause to be sold chickens or ducklings younger than eight (8) weeks of age in quantities of less than ten (10) in a single purchase. (1995 Code § 10.106)
   B.   Horses And Cows: It shall be unlawful to keep a horse or cow on a tract of land less than two (2) acres. One additional horse or cow can be kept with an additional two (2) acres with the permission of the village board. (Ord. 2014-601, 9-15-2014, eff. 9-16-2014)
