A Board of Health is hereby created, which shall consist of four members: the Mayor, who shall serve as Chairperson; the City Police Chief, who shall be Secretary and Quarantine Officer; a city physician who shall serve as the medical advisor; and the President of the City Council. The members of the Board shall serve a one-year term of office, unless reappointed or until their successors have been appointed, and shall reorganize at the first meeting in June of each year.
