It shall be unlawful for any person to change the dimensions of any building in the fire limits unless such person first makes application to and receives permission from the city’s Building Official to do such work. The applicant shall state on the application that the material used will be non-combustible and approved by the Fire Chief. Repairs in the form of patching and other minor repairs shall not require a permit.
