§ 5-402 PAVING OF DRIVE.
   (A)   If the use, convenience and necessity of a property owner requires the curb line be cut for entrance onto private property, the property owner shall first obtain permission for such curb cut from the Street Superintendent or Building Official. If permission is granted for such cut, the property owner shall, within 30 days, pave the drive from the curb line to the lot line with concrete.
   (B)   Upon the development of new residential, commercial or industrial uses, or development of new structures, parking areas, or upgrades of the same, where hard-surfacing is not present, compliance with this section shall apply whenever such drive abut any concrete or asphalt street. The minimum thickness of such concrete or asphalt shall be six inches in depth. Multiple driveway accesses will not be allowed for residential purposes, only in the support of attached or detached garages. Width and slope will be determined by the Street Superintendent or Building Official. When drainage is required in the right-of-way, the property owner shall furnish a minimum of a 12-inch corrugated steel culvert the total width of the driveway. Upon elimination of existing drives, the property owner will be required to reinstate the city curb by cutting and replacement of such street, including the complete flow line of the curb to the specifications of the adjoining street.
