§ 33.038  ASSISTANCE IN CIVIL CASES PROHIBITED.
   Members shall not render any assistance in civil cases, except to prevent an immediate breach of the peace or to quell a disturbance actually commenced, and shall not serve civil processes or testify in civil cases unless legally summoned.
