Whenever an officer is required to use chemical mace, or uses a police baton, flashlight, instrument or mere physical force that results in injury or possible injury while in the line of duty, the officer shall notify the Town Marshal verbally or in written form at the earliest possible time. Violation of this provision will be considered a violation of the rules of the Police Department.
