(A) Officers seeking to inquire concerning duties shall do so through the Town Marshal, and may not seek this information from sources outside the Police Department, except on permission of the Marshal or the failure of the Marshal to furnish information in a reasonable length of time.
(B) In this case, they may seek the information from the Council after notifying the Marshal of their intent.
(C) Violation of this provision shall be considered a breach of discipline.
