§ 33.012  COURTESY.
   (A)   Officers shall be courteous to each other and to all citizens with whom they may come in contract while on duty. Request for information or police service by citizens shall be courteously handled both in person and over the telephone or other communication media. Officers shall likewise be courteous to other law enforcement officials of the county, state and federal governments.
   (B)   Officers shall be at all times courteous, polite and maintain decorum while in any court of the state.
   (C)   Failure to extend courtesy shall be considered conduct unbecoming an officer.
