§ 150.055  ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS; ADOPTION OF STATE LAW.
   (A)   Under the provisions of I.C. 36-7-9-1 et seq., there is hereby established the town’s Unsafe Building Law.
   (B)   (1)   I.C. 36-7-9-1 et seq., and the definition of SUBSTANTIAL INTERESTS found in I.C. 36-7-9-2, is hereby adopted by reference as the town’s Unsafe Building Law. All proceedings within the town for the inspection, repair and removal of unsafe buildings shall be governed by the state law and the provisions of this subchapter.
      (2)   In the event the provisions of this subchapter conflict with the provisions of I.C. 36-7-9-1 et seq., the provisions of state law shall control.
      (3)   Any repeal of this law shall not act as a repeal of this subchapter.
