§ 150.005  ADOPTION OF REGULATIONS BY REFERENCE.
   (A)   All regulations relative to the matters set forth in this chapter heretofore or hereafter adopted by the state legislature are adopted herein by reference and are incorporated into this chapter.
   (B)   The following rules, regulations and codes are hereby adopted by reference as the rules and regulations governing the construction and alteration of buildings and structures in the town:
      (1)   Indiana Building Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 13-2.6), originally published as 9 IR 719, which identifies, amends, and incorporates therein the Uniform Building Code, most current edition;
      (2)   Indiana Building Code Standards, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 13-3), originally published as 9 IR 750, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Uniform Building Code, most current edition;
      (3)   Indiana Handicapped Accessibility Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 13-4), originally published as 9 IR 1030, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Specifications for Making Buildings and Facilities Accessible to and Usable by Physically Handicapped People (ANSI A117.1);
      (4)   Indiana Fire and Building Safety Standards (675 I.A.C. 13-1), originally published as 8 IR 1301 under that title, which incorporates by reference the following National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards:
         (a)   Standard for Low Expansion Foam and Combined Agent Systems, most current edition (NFPA 11). Appendix C of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (b)   Standard on Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing Systems, most current edition (NFPA 12). Chapter 6 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (c)   Standard on Halon 1301 Fire Extinguishing Systems, most current edition (NFPA 12A). Chapter 4 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (d)   Standard on Halon 1211 Fire Extinguishing Systems, most current edition (NFPA 12B). Chapter 4 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (e)   Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, most current edition (NFPA 13). Chapter 10 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (f)   Standard for the Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems, most current edition (NFPA 14). Chapter 10 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (g)   Standard for the Installation of Centrifugal Fire Pumps, most current edition (NFPA 20). Appendix C of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (h)   Standard for the Installation, Maintenance and Use of Central Station Signaling Systems, most current edition (NFPA 71). Chapter 6 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (i)   Standard for the Installation, Maintenance and Use of Local Protective Signaling Systems for Guard’s Tour, Fire Alarm and Supervisory Service, most current edition (NFPA 72A). Chapter 4 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (j)   Standard for the Installation, Maintenance and Use of Auxiliary Protective Signaling Systems for Fire Alarm Service, most current edition (NFPA 72B). Chapter 4 of this document is deleted in its entirety;

         (o)   Standard for General Storage, most current edition (NFPA 231). Chapter 9 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (p)   Standard for Rack Storage, most current edition (NFPA 231c). Chapter 12 of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (q)   Standard for Non-Flammable Medical Gas Systems, most current edition (NFPA 56F). Appendix D of this document is deleted in its entirety;
         (r)   Standard for the Prevention of Fires and Explosions in Grain Elevators and Facilities Handling Bulk Raw Agricultural Commodities, most current edition (NFPA 61b). Appendix E of this document is deleted in its entirety; and
         (s)   Standard on Incinerators, Waste and Linen Handling Systems and Equipment, most current edition (NFPA 82). Appendix A of this document is deleted in its entirety.
      (5)   Indiana Electrical Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 17-1.8-1), originally published as 9 IR 50, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the National Electrical Code, most current edition;
      (6)   Indiana Safety Code for Health Care Facilities, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 17-2), originally published as 9 IR 52, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard, NFPA 99, most current edition;
      (7)   Indiana Plumbing Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 16-1.4-1), originally published as 9 IR 1610, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Uniform Plumbing Code, most current edition;
      (8)   Indiana Mechanical Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 18-1.6-1), originally published as 9 IR 1582, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Uniform Mechanical Code, most current edition;
      (9)   Indiana Flammable and Combustible Liquids and Gases Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 22-1), originally published as 9 IR 53, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein eight National Fire Protection Association Standards;
      (10)   Indiana One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 14-4.3-1), originally published as 9 IR 216, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Council of American Building Officials One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code, most current edition;
      (11)   Indiana Energy Conservation Code, most current edition (675 I.A.C. 19-4.1), originally published as 9 IR 2525, which identifies, amends and incorporates therein the Model Energy Code, most current edition; and
      (12)   Indiana Swimming Pool Code (675 I.A.C. 20-1), originally published as 9 IR 1014 under that title.
