(A) For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GAMBLER. Any person who shall be the keeper, proprietor or exhibitor of any gambling table, device or gambling implements, or shall be an assistant or attendant at any gaming table or apparatus in any gambling house.
(B) Any person who has committed any of the offenses defined in division (A) above may be arrested by the Town Marshal or other peace officer and taken before the judge of the court having jurisdiction.
(C) It shall be competent and lawful at all times for the Town Marshal and other peace officers to visit all places where they have reason to believe that gaming apparatus is kept, gambling is permitted or carried on, or other unlawful gambling practices are carried on or permitted. If evidence of an unlawful gambling practice is found, the officers shall arrest all persons inhabiting or frequenting the place, seize and destroy all apparatus for gaming or unlawful purposes found there, and hold and charge the persons before the judge of the court having jurisdiction.
