(A) The Building Inspector and the Clerk- Treasurer shall act to approve or deny an application for a license or permit under this chapter made within a reasonable period of time and in no event later than 90 days from the date that the respective application was accepted by them.
(B) Upon the determination by the Building Inspector or Clerk-Treasurer that the license or permit applied for ought not to be issued pursuant to this chapter, a notice shall be sent to the applicant by certified mail stating the reason for the denial, and advising the applicant of the right to a hearing to appeal the denial and the right to correct any defect in the application or premises.
