For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MERCHANDISE. Items normally found in a household.
PLAN DIRECTOR. The Building Commissioner in his or her role under the Plan Commission and the Council.
RESIDENTIAL SALE. Includes sales of goods in a district zoned for residential purposes, from a private residence, under whatever name including, but not limited to, garage sales, patio sales, rummage sales or porch sales, where the sale is advertised and open to the general public.
