(a) No person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle within an area designated as a fire lane pursuant to Section 406.01(k) of this Traffic Code and the Unified Fire Code.
(b) Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle unattended in any fire lane, such officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle to the nearest garage or other place of safety, and said vehicle may not be removed therefrom until the owner of said vehicle has paid for the cost of its removal and storage.
