The functions of the Division of Engineering shall be the responsibility of the City Engineer, who shall be immediately responsible to the Director of Development. This Division shall be responsible for preparing engineering plans and specifications for public improvements; reviewing development and subdivision plans; supervising the planning and construction of public improvements; traffic engineering; preparing engineering drafts, plans and drawings for use by other departments or divisions; rendering engineering assistance to other departments upon request; and performing other duties as required by the Director of Development.
