(a) Whoever violates any provision of this Building Code, for which no other penalty is provided, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
(b) Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of Chapters 1420, 1422, 1424 and 1444 shall be fined not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisoned not less than thirty days nor more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
