§ 151.03 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BUILDING OFFICIAL. The officer of other designated authority charged with the administration and enforcement of the Minnesota Uniform Building Code, or the building official's duly authorized representative.
   HERITAGE PRESERVATION DISTRICT. A geographically-definable area, possessing a significant concentration, linkage, or continuity of sites, buildings, structures, or objects united historically or aesthetically by plan or physical development and has been locally designated as a Heritage Preservation District pursuant to § 151.05 of this chapter.
   HERITAGE PRESERVATION SITE. Any area, place, building, structure, land, district, or other object which has been duly designated heritage preservation sites pursuant to § 151.05.
   PLANNING COMMISSION. The Center City Planning Commission.
   SITE ALTERATION PERMIT. A permit issued by the city for any alteration of the exterior of an existing building, structure or feature that materially modifies its original appearance or construction that is designated a heritage preservation site.
