§ 112.10 PERMIT; HEAVY EQUIPMENT ON CITY STREETS.
   (A)   No person shall operate or permit the operation on any city street or right-of-way any trucks or equipment exceeding 17,000 lbs. gross weight or otherwise having a metal track without first obtaining a written permit therefor from the City Clerk/Treasurer, and posting bond running to the city of a sum as set forth in the city fee schedule, securing the repair or maintenance of any damage done to the city street or right-of-way resulting from the use of the trucks or equipment upon same. Should the area of the street or right-of-way subject to damage from the use exceed 50 square yards, the bond shall be increased as set forth in the city fee schedule.
   (B)   The bond shall be released only after inspection of the affected area and the repair of all damage resulting from the use. The Council may waive the permit and bond requirement for the installation of public utilities installed pursuant to M.S. Ch. 429.
