509.08 CURFEW HOURS FOR MINORS.
   (a)   No person under the age of eighteen years shall loiter, idle, wander, play, or be in or upon a motor vehicle in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, sidewalks, playgrounds, or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement or entertainment, or vacant lots or other unsupervised places between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a person under the age of eighteen years when accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of such minor, or where such minor is on an emergency errand or other legitimate business directed by his or her parent or guardian.
   (b)   No person under the age of fifteen years shall loiter, idle, wander, play or be in or upon a motor vehicle in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, sidewalks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement or entertainment, or vacant lots or other unsupervised places between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a person under the age of fifteen years when accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of such minor, or where such minor is on an emergency errand or other legitimate business directed by his or her parent or guardian.
   (c)   No person shall aid, abet, influence or encourage any child under the age of eighteen years to violate this curfew.
   (d)   No person, being the parent or guardian or person having legal custody and control of any person under the age of eighteen years shall negligently allow a person under the age of eighteen years to violate either subsection (a) or (b) hereof.
   (e)   Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
