(a) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter and receives a parking ticket therefor may pay the ticket either by depositing the fine in the payment boxes located in the Village or by mailing the payment therefor to the Village of Centerburg, Box D, Centerburg, Ohio within 48 hours after the parking ticket was attached to his vehicle.
(b) Anyone receiving a parking ticket for any violation under this chapter will be obligated to pay within forty-eight (48) hours of the violation a fine according to the following schedule:
(1) Overtime parking in a two (2) or four (4) hour zone - twenty dollars ($20.00).
(2) Improper parking such as in a yellow zone, no parking zone or in the wrong direction - twenty dollars ($20.00).
(3) Parking in prohibited area such as an alley, walkway, or driveway - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(4) Double parked - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(5) Parking in excess of forty-eight (48) hours - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(6) Handicapped parking only - fifty dollars ($50.00).
(7) Parking within ten (10) feet of fire hydrant - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(8) Parking wrong side of street - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(9) Snow removal - thirty dollars ($30.00).
(10) Other - thirty dollars ($30.00).
**If a parking ticket for any of the foregoing violations is not paid or postmarked within forty-eight (48) hours, the fine will automatically double.
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter and receives a parking ticket therefor and does not pay the ticket within forty-eight (48) hours of the violation, shall be subject to an arrest warrant or summons and the penalty provided in Section 303.99.
