101.98 USE AND SALE OF CODIFIED ORDINANCES.
   (a)   As of the effective date of this section, all volumes of the Codified Ordinances of the Village, including all annual supplements, shall be considered Village property, unless legally and properly sold as further provided herein.
   (b)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall distribute such copies of the Codified Ordinances to such people as Council shall determine from time to time. The Clerk-Treasurer shall keep a record of distribution of each copy.
   (c)   If any of the aforesaid persons leaves office or is removed from office, then he or she shall return the Codified Ordinance Book and all supplements in their possession to the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (d)   If the Codified Ordinance Book with all supplements is not returned after written demand by the Clerk-Treasurer or Village Solicitor, then that person or their heirs or legal representative shall be charged the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for the Codified Ordinance Book and supplements, which sum shall be payable to the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the Village.
   (e)   The Clerk-Treasurer if further authorized and directed to deliver current issues of the Codified Ordinances of Cedarville, Ohio, with supplements to the Greene County Public Library, Greene County Law Library and the Municipal Court, free of charge.
