(a) A permit is required for any of the following activities taking place in the right-of-way:
(1) Construction - including, but not limited to, residential or commercial installation or repair of streets, curbs, drains, gutters, driveways or sidewalks; excavation, boring, trenching or digging.
(2) Utility work - including, but not limited to, residential or commercial installation or repair of telephone, electric, gas, cable, water, sanitary sewer or storm sewer.
(3) Installation of public safety mechanisms including, but not limited to, street lights, street signs, traffic signals, traffic signs or fire hydrants.
(4) Pavement marking on streets, intersections, curbs, sidewalks or commercial driveways.
(5) Encroachments including, but not limited to, parklets, fill material, retaining walls, landscaping.
(6) Tree removal or major pruning.
(b) All work performed shall be in strict compliance with the regulations outlined in the approved permit.
