901.01 PURPOSE.

The purpose of this chapter is to regulate activities in the public right-of-way in the interest of public safety and convenience, and the operation and protection of public works infrastructure.

Excavation and restoration standards are required to preserve the integrity, operational safety and function of the public right-of-way.
