The Village Administrator shall appoint those officers, employees, clerks and assistants whose positions have been established by Council as being under the authority of the Village Administrator. Appointments to such positions shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor. Such appointments and the Mayor's approval thereof shall be in writing and shall be filed with the Clerk-Treasurer.
