1-6-1: OFFICES CREATED:
   A.   Created: The offices of city recorder, city attorney, finance director, community services director, public works director/chief building official, assistant city manager/city planner/zoning administrator and city manager/city engineer/city treasurer are created, having the powers and functions conferred by the state code and city ordinances, and these officers shall serve until removed by the city council.
   B.   Appointment: On or before the first Monday in February following a municipal election, the mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, shall appoint a qualified person to each of the offices of city recorder and treasurer.
   C.   Finance Director: The city finance director is ex officio the city auditor and shall perform the duties of that office. (Ord. 01-07-2014C, 1-7-2014)
