§ 34.03 DUTIES OF FIRE CHIEF; SECRETARY/TREASURER.
   (A)   The Fire Chief shall be the head of the Fire Department, and shall be fully responsible, and accountable, to the city for the budget for funds, and responsibilities, as set forth in the State Fire Protection Services Program, Act 833 of 1991, being A.C. §§ 14-284-401 through 14-284-411 and A.C. § 26-57-614, and for the operation, and the equipment, of the Department. It shall be his or her duty to determine all matters in connection with the management, and operation, of the Department, except the expenditure of city funds therein. He or she shall make periodic reports to the City Council showing the names of each firefighter, and the number of hours, or calls, each firefighter has performed, showing the condition of the equipment of the Department, and showing other matters as shall be determined as necessary by the City Council.
   (B)   The Secretary/Treasurer shall keep minutes of each meeting, and a record of the names of the firefighters of the Fire Department who attend the monthly meetings, and who perform services at each fire, or medical, call.
