For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates, or requires, a different meaning.
AUTOMOBILE TRAILER, TRAILER COACH, or TRAILER. Any vehicle, or structure, designed, and constructed, to permit occupancy thereof as sleeping quarters for one, or more, persons, or the conduct of any business, profession, occupation, or trade, or used as a selling, or advertising, device, and so designated that it is, or may be, mounted on wheels, and used as a conveyance on streets or highways, propelled, or drawn, by its own, or other, motive power, except a device used exclusively upon stationary rails, or tracks.
DEPENDENT MOBILE HOME. A mobile home which does not have a flush toilet and a bath, or shower. No DEPENDENT MOBILE HOME may be set, or remain set, with the city after the passage of this subchapter.
INDEPENDENT MOBILE HOME. A mobile home which has a flush toilet and a bath, or shower.
MOBILE HOME. A manufactured, re-locatable living unit, specifically meaning a non-self propelled vehicle, or similar portable structure, used, or so constructed, as to permit its being transported upon the public streets, or highways, and duly licensable as such, and designed to be used, with or without a permanent foundation, as a dwelling, or for sleeping purposes.
MODULAR HOME. A manufactured living unit constructed of two, or more, sections designed to permit its being transported upon the public streets, or highways, solely for the purpose of moving it to a permanent site, and permanent foundation. The unit must have a minimum roof overhand of 12 inches, and a minimum pitch of one and one-half inches per foot. A MODULAR HOME, as described above, will not be classed as a mobile home.
PERSON. Any individual, partnership, firm, company, corporation, tenant, owner, lessee, or licensee, their agents, heirs, or assigns.
PLACED or SET. Situated upon a foundation, tied down, or connected by any means to any utility service of the city, or occupied as living, or sleeping, quarters by one, or more, persons.
TRAILER. See AUTOMOBILE TRAILER, TRAILER COACH, or TRAILER.
TRAILER COACH. See AUTOMOBILE TRAILER, TRAILER COACH, or TRAILER.
TRAILER PARK.
(1) Any park, trailer court, campsite, lot, parcel, or tract of land zoned, and approved, by City Council for the purpose of supplying a location, or accommodations, for trailer coaches, and upon which trailer coaches are parked, and shall include all buildings used, or intended for use, as a part of the equipment thereof whether a charge is made for the use of the trailer camp, and its facilities, or not.
(2) TRAILER PARK shall not include automobile or trailer sales lots on which unoccupied trailers are parked for purposes of inspection and sale.
