§ 150.016 ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL PERMIT FEE.
   (A)   Residential electrical permits are based on the total square foot under roof, and are set forth on the chart below. The base fee for commercial electricity is $50.

   (B)   Electricians must use a minimum of 12-gauge wire in any new construction (e.g., residential/commercial), and must use the new N.E.C. Electrical Codes (note: the trench for running the electric to the house is a minimum of 24 feet deep).
   (C)   The city requires that the electrical subcontractor present a copy of his or her current electrician’s license.
   (D)   Commercial mechanical fees shall include a base fee of $50, plus the initial bid/valuation amount x0.005.
